Peter’s ‘57 r26 is a beautiful single with 30830 Miles on it.
in 2019 Barrington Motor Works performed a full mechanical restoration on the R26, including the rebuild of the engine, transmission, swingarm and final drive. Chassis work included rebuilding of the front and rear shock assemblies, front and rear swingarm bearings/seals, wheel bearings and seals, and the replacement of the steering head bearings. Additionally the speedometer has been rebuilt and the tank has been repainted and striped. Most recently the battery have been replaced and a full fluid change and tune up has been completed.
