Who We Are

Since its inception Barrington Motor Works has been leading the way to bring knowledge and skill to the vintage BMW motorcycle community. Originally founded by Chris and Barbara Betjemann, the goal of Barrington Motor Works was to share knowledge and skills gained from 40 years of riding and wrenching with the vintage BMW motorcycle community by offering high level restorations and services.

In 2019, Andrew Kahora purchased and took over operations of Barrington Motor Works. After 10 years of BMW motorcycle specific training, Ande has refined his knowledge and skills with the BMW brand. Now, after five years, a larger staff, and an expanded shop, Barrington Motor Works continues to offer high quality service and restorations to the vintage and classic BMW motorcycle community.
